One client was having to support 33 different kinds of operating systems on a server by server basis. This was extremely time-consuming, stressful, and of course expensive.
We therefore prepared a feasibility study that demonstrated how our solutions would help them be more efficient and cost-effective. These data management solutions gather information from multiple database sources and systems and present them in an easy to manage way.
In this way we helped them realise the benefits of what is out on the market, and also provided the specialised services required during migration and launch.
Case study
This customer was running a large number of servers and had a large amount of legacy systems and software that although they worked together, were extremely difficult to manage and also incurred license fees.
We created a server consolidation proposal which we felt would greatly improve the situation and also improve server performance.
We provided the software, training and consultancy to create the new network and services. Now the servers are all running LINUX, centrally managed from one location, with one set of logins, therefore improving security and saving a huge amount of time and money.

We are now working with colleges and universities to offer open source courses as part of their curriculum, as a credited part of the student’s education, and at no extra charge.
